GENERAL CONDITIONS OF SALE

The purpose of these present conditions is to inform our customers about the conditions and modalities of reservation and cancellation as well as responsibilities. These conditions of sale are subject to change at any time without notice. The acceptance and observance of these conditions of sale is acquired upon payment of the deposit.

Rates :
The prices indicated are in €uros per night and for two people maximum. Daily cleaning and household linen are included in the price indicated for the rooms.

  • The cleaning and household linen are included in the price indicated for the apartment.
  • A minimum reservation of two nights or three nights depending on the season for the rental of the apartment will be required.
  • A minimum reservation of one night or two nights depending on the season for the rental of rooms will be required.
  • The cleaning of the exit is included in the price indicated for the cottages and guest rooms.
  • The tourist tax and breakfasts are not included in the indicated price and will be paid on site.

All services outside the accommodation rental (Jacuzzi Baths, Massages and Extras) will be invoiced independently of the overnight stay and paid on site. Our rates and offers are subject to availability at the time of booking and may not be renewed for subsequent bookings. Conditions, rates and non-contractual offers are subject to change without notice.

Booking by credit card:.

All reservations are accompanied by a payment by the customer’s credit card and a written confirmation by email from Clos de la Chapelle Spa to the customer. The deposit of a credit card number implies the acceptance of these general conditions of sale. Le Clos de la Chapelle Spa is committed not to keep bank card numbers at the end of the guests’ stay.

Method of payment :

– All reservations will be validated by a deposit of 30% of the total amount (excluding tourist tax, breakfasts and other services that will be paid on site) and the final balance will be deducted one month before arrival.

– Any reservation less than 30 days before arrival, 100% of the sum will be charged.

– Credit card (only for nights, stays and in case of damage). Credit cards accepted are VISA, Mastercard.

– Cash (only for all benefit supplements).

Security deposit:

No payment as a guarantee, only the credit card number is required and you will be asked, but the card will not be charged unless there is a damage.

Change of reservation:

Any change of reservation must be requested from our establishment only by e-mail: leclosdelachapelle14@gmail.com

This request for modification will only be effective when “Le Clos de la Chapelle Spa” has confirmed its acceptance by e-mail.

Reservation cancellation:

For all credit card bookings, bank transaction fees will be systematically deducted from all refunds.

Our prices do not include cancellation and interruption insurance.

If the cancellation of the customer, on the date of receipt of the Mail by ” le Clos de la Chapelle Spa”, occurs:

More than 60 days before the arrival date, the amount of the reservation will be refunded less the fees for credit card transactions.

Between the 59th and 30th day before the arrival date, 30% of the total amount of the stay will be kept by “le Clos de la Chapelle Spa”, the rest of the, refunded, less bank transaction fees by Carte Bleue.

If cancellation occurs less than 30 working days before the arrival date, 100% of the total amount due will be kept.

In case of no-show, or if the guest leaves the guest house on the day of arrival,“Le Clos de la Chapelle Spa” will keep the total amount of the planned stay including the reservation of additional services ordered via the bank details given by the client at the time of booking.

Exchange or refund of additional benefits:

All reservations and/or services of the Spa or Balneotherapy Bath at the Wellness area will be subject to an exchange or refund in the event of a breakdown occurring during the stay of our guests.

Reservation cancellation by “Le Clos de la Chapelle Spa”:

In the event of cancellation by the owner, in case of force majeure, he/she will pay back in full the sums collected, including bank transaction fees by Carte Bleue.

Insurance:

The tenant certifies that he is covered by a civil liability insurance covering his liability.

Responsibility:

Le Clos de la Chapelle Spa cannot be held liable in the event of loss, theft or damage to personal belongings within the premises of the establishment.

Some precautions can help you avoid inconvenience: for example, lock your windows and front door before leaving your home.

Claim:

Any complaint relating to your stay must be addressed by registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt within 15 days following the stay at: Le Clos de la Chapelle Spa 36 rue Saint Jean 14400 Bayeux.

INTERNAL RULES

Art of living:

Le Clos de la Chapelle Spa is a guest house, the client therefore stays with the resident owner of the place. Other tenants also rent at the same location. The respect of a certain art of living is required of all the Guests to guarantee the tranquillity of the place and the comfort of its guests.

Only for adults over 16 years old:

Le Clos de la Chapelle Spa is a place reserved for couples and adult friends wishing to find a rest. Adolescents over 16 years of age are admitted. For reasons of security and tranquillity, no other outside person will be allowed to enter the property.

Non-smoking guest house (French legislation), fire safety of Suites and Apartments:

All Suites and Apartments are “non-smoking” and equipped with an automatic fire alarm system. As such, we ask the Guests not to smoke in the windows of the Suites or at the entrances of each Apartment. The smoking ban applies to the entire property. Smokers are invited to visit the intermediate patio where ashtrays are available.

Suites and Apartments available (CHECK IN):

Arrival times are between 4.00 pm and 6.00 pm at the latest.

Outside these hours, it is imperative to write us your arrival time by return of Mail leclosdelachapelle14@gmail.com according to our conditions and after acceptance:

Arrival after 6.00 pm: A supplement of 20 € will be charged on the credit card. No arrival will be possible after 8 pm, there will no longer be the possibility to access the reserved accommodation and no refund will be made in accordance with the general conditions of sale.
Arrival before 4.00 pm: Luggage can be dropped off from 11am on request.
An inventory of the premises will be carried out. The keys to the accommodation that will be given to you are forgery-proof keys. Any loss of these will be charged 100 €.

Libération des Locations (CHECK OUT):

Departure times are between 8am and 11am at the latest.

For any departure before 7.30 am and after 11 am, a supplement of 20 € will be charged on the credit card and no breakfast will be served. For security and flight reasons, no departure will be possible without an inventory of fixtures and handing over the keys to the owners. In case of non respect, a penalty of minimum 100 € will be charged on the credit card.

Luggage service:

The baggage deposit is only possible before the arrival time of the Rentals if the client expressly requests it from the owners with their agreement.

Suites and Apartments:

Original valuables are left at your disposal in the various accommodations. Under no circumstances should you touch or move paintings, furniture or other fragile decorative objects. You are asked to respect the inventory of fixtures. It is forbidden to eat in the Suites la Chapelle and la Secrète, as such, a summer kitchen (between the 2 patios) is at your disposal only for the Suites. any deterioration of Suites, Apartments and common parts during the inventory of the places of departure will lead to the non-return of the deposit.

Animals:

Due to safety and hygiene rules, pets are not allowed.

Respect for the place: Terraces, Patios and summer kitchen

The owners’ terrace is private and can only be used as part of a SPA reservation.

The Chapel has its own private terrace left at the disposal of its guests. For reasons of tranquillity and security, all foreigners are not admitted to the latter.

The 2 patios are accessible to all our Guests (except casanova suite), any foreign person is not allowed to enter our Guest House.

The patio at the bottom of the property is non-smoking and will be closed from 11pm in the summer. Lounge loungers and tables are at your disposal to rest or eat.

The summer kitchen, with equipment and crockery, is reserved exclusively for the Suites d’ Hôtes, guests will have to do their dishes and leave the place clean.

For the Apartments, 2 bags are at your disposal to bring your dinner and dishes to the patio.

Use of the spa and wellness area Balneotherapy:

Access to the spa and the spa area is subject to conditions from the owners. The Spa and the spa area are additional services. The booking and use of these are totally privatized for a given period of time and are left under the responsibility of the occupants for the duration of the rental. One hour of reservation will be arranged by mutual agreement. Bathrobes, towels and bath towels are provided. Shower and swimsuits are mandatory for the SPA. Only persons staying at the  “le Clos de la Chapelle Spa” will be able to access these services and all additional services will be invoiced separately from the price of the nights.

Personal effects:

A safe deposit box is provided in each apartment. Le Clos de la Chapelle Spa declines all responsibility in the event of theft, loss or damage to the guests’ personal belongings.

Assignment of competence:

This contract is governed by French law and all disputes arising out of this contract, concerning its validity, interpretation, execution, termination, consequences and consequences will be submitted to the competent courts under the conditions of common law.
