THE OWNERS, Claire and Franck JAMART

Both were born in Paris where they met, graduated and worked in the capital. During their travels in France, Claire and Franck discovered Bayeux and fell in love with this city of art and history. Determined to live there, they bought a former historic private mansion with accommodation, an artist’s studio, patios and chapel, which became a guest house.

Claire is the mistress of the place. She comes from a family of artists and was herself a musician (flute). Claire loves to hunt and decorate but also to discover our beautiful France through its architecture and history.

Franck is a painter, draftsman, decorator and musician (guitar). He painted the frescoes and paintings of the Chapel and those of the other apartments. Franck has long been passionate about aviation and history.

Claire and Franck have arranged all the accommodation with antique furniture and objets d’art from all over France and abroad.
