The three Museums

The Memorial Museum of the Battle of Normandy presents in chronological order, day by day, the issues and events of the Battle, through theme areas, archive footage, military equipment and various objects.
The Bayeux Tapestry:
Each year visitors from around the world come to the museum to admire this key work of the Middle Ages. Listed “World Heritage” by UNESCO, the 70 metres long Tapestry recounts the Conquest of England by William, Duke of Normandy.
The Baron Gerard Art and History Museum:
Embark on a cultural journey through the history of European art! The rich collections of the MAHB –  including works from the prehistoric era to modern times – are housed in the former bishop’s palace.
